Ingredients for Indian dish, brinjal mango curry, drumstick recipe

1. Brinjal – 250 grams

2. Drumstick – 2

3. Tomatoes – 100 grams

4. Onions – 50 grams

5. Green chillies – 2

6. Mixed red chilli powder – 1 table spoon

7. Salt – as required

8. Water – as required

9. Oil – 4 table spoons

Mixed red chilli powder is a mixture of red chilli powder, cumin seeds powder, mustard seeds powder, fenugreek seeds powder, coriandee seeds powder, turmeric powder and crushed garlic cloves.

Preparation for Indian diah, brinjal drumstick curry, drumstick recipe

1.Wash brinjal, drumsticks, tomatoes onions and green chillies under running clean water.

2. Peel the onions, remove stalks of them. Cut them into small pieces.

3. Remove stalks of green chillies, cut them into long pieces.

4. Discard stalks of drumsticks, cut them into small two inches pieces.

5. Discard the stalks of the brinjal, cut them into small cubes. Put them in salt water.

1. Heat a pan with oil.

2. Add green chillies, onions and drumstick pieces to it. Stir them well for three minutes.

3. Drain the brinjal. Add them to the pan. Stir them well for three minutes.

4. Add mixed red chilli powder and salt to them. Sprinkle a little water on them.

5. Add the pieces of tomatoes to the mixture. Stir them well for three minutes.

6. Low the flame. Cover and cook them till they cooked completely.

7. In between this time, stir them well for every three minutes to prevent them from getting burnt.

8. For getting it to a right consistency add more water and cook them for two minutes.

9. Switch off stove, Now brinjal drumstick curry is ready to serve.
